    Facing my fears

    ... So on my return to the caravan site my worries changed to what was I going to do about breakfast if I couldn't get bread and milk. Then the gods clearly forgot about me because it turned out that in the middle of the ghastly housing estate there was a 'hidden' supermarket which I could walk to, so now I am all set up.

    Tomorrow I drive further south towards Valencia and the weather forecast is looking better, which will be a great relief,

    Out at 10.30 went to see if friend Virginia was at work but on holiday then off to buy to presents in town. Breakfast on Main Street cafe back to hotel check out by 12.00. Bus at 12.30.     Out by 11.00 queuing by the hotel for the Offrenda de Fruita breakfast then watch processions until 13.00. Down to Plaza de Pilar couldn't find fruit it goes into the cathedral then distributed immediately so no display. We takes more photos of the flowers and watch the children performing La Jota and singing sometimes in tune, but lovely to watch, everyone applauded whatever! Aperitif at ...

    A lovely sunny day to see the best of the city. We breakfast in a small cafe, visit Dali exhibition, before making for the Cathedral. We sit and watch some of the traditional dancing and singing in the Plaza del Pilar before going in the Cathedral. It is huge inside and people are queuing to touch The Pilar. We then retrace last nights walk onto the bridge before checking out the artisan stalls along the waterside. Back into town to find La Fuella, ...
