Today Freya and I went on a tour to Mostar. We got put onto another tour bus as our driver was apparently sick.. So our free lunch went out the window. We stopped at a place called Ston on the way and climbed the wall which we had half an hour to do so we powered up it. Ston was a nice little muscle farming community and was not as touristy as the other places we have seen. Watched a few locals farm some oysters. Mostar was nice but the effects of the war were still ...

Below us gentle waves ...

Sounds good to ...

The next two days were spent walking and exploring the city. The nautical museum is excellent tracing the seafaring history of the city from antiquity to the present. The ethnographic museum has a small, but very good collection of predominantly late 19th century and ...

    Croatia - Dubrovnik

... old town. Expensive, but worth it for the great views. However it was incredibly hot because you couldn't escape the sun, and it was so over crowded it took ages to walk around following lots of old geezers. Luke is way too impatient for this. The city is actually full of old people as they come in on the cruise ships. So the pace is verrrrrry slow in the main tourist strips. Lunch was delicious, pizza in a little street. Luke's 5th pizza in Croatia! But by far the ...
