... for cars (on my bike)! That was the scariest thing that has happened on this trip so far. Eventually the night came and I saw the wonder that is the Van Gogh bike path, a regular concrete path embedded with stones that harness energy from the sun and one solar panel set at the beginning of the path, which then glow as the sun sets in the famous pattern. It is truly extraordinary in the dark, and I am so glad I waited several hours at the bike path to see it in the dark. ...

8th Leaving The Netherlands One thing about any other country to The Netherlands is the topography-- it has some variation. The photos show a number of scenes going into the Lanaye Ecluse (Belgian/French for "lock"). This was one very big lock and it was more crowded than any we'd experienced before. ... chat games: Involved inventing the most awkward way of sparking a chat up with people, usually foreign girls that didn’t talk much English which made it funnier for us and more awkward for them!
