... It's pronounced like you're saying "muh hun bate" while you're clearing your throat, and it means mosquito bite. I did pretty well remembering my words today except I've been having to drink apple juice even though I've been wanting orange juice. I'll just never remember how to say that word!
We enjoyed our last dinner with the family, and the girls made a special dessert for us--strawberries, ice cream, whipped cream, and an appel flap. Finally ...

... but then onto the Canal Cruise. This was lovely. Perfect evening. Saw Anne Frank's house and marvelled at the size of the attic/roof area. Saw wonderful barges and tall thin houses on either side. Law was that everyone should have access to the canals... So blocks of land were very narrow but long... Hence tall, thin houses. ... our close had a direct hit on a telephone pole. It blew out our neighbours phone socket across the room, our Wi-Fi router and television stopped working even though they were all on surge protected sockets. We exchanged the router as it was under guarantee but got to sort out the TV when we get home in October. The TV is not important seeing as we do not have one now. If there is anything important happening, we are sure someone will let us know here or at home. ...

... closed so we decided to have a nice relaxing day and figure out where we wanted to head off to next. We walked through Kootwijkerbroek to visit more family in the morning. In the afternoon Hank took us for a drive around the countryside. We drove through the woods which were gorgeous with all of the fall colors and the trees lining the road.
