... It's pronounced like you're saying "muh hun bate" while you're clearing your throat, and it means mosquito bite. I did pretty well remembering my words today except I've been having to drink apple juice even though I've been wanting orange juice. I'll just never remember how to say that word!
We enjoyed our last dinner with the family, and the girls made a special dessert for us--strawberries, ice cream, whipped cream, and an appel flap. Finally ...

... but then onto the Canal Cruise. This was lovely. Perfect evening. Saw Anne Frank's house and marvelled at the size of the attic/roof area. Saw wonderful barges and tall thin houses on either side. Law was that everyone should have access to the canals... So blocks of land were very narrow but long... Hence tall, thin houses. ... II. Our guide book said there would be tour guides in English, but not today, I guess. We almost left, though I still wanted to go in. Suddenly the gentleman said we could go I and look for free. Interesting place with many posters and pictures of the era. Another man popped out of his office and offered to show us a movie in English.
