After breakfast on Thursday morning, Pekka drove Colin and me to see the summer town of Naantali (also the home of the President's summer house). ... by the looks of the photos on the hotel's page, it's a really neat little boutique hotel that has really quite ok reviews. Sure, it's not a 17th century mansion, but hey, it's a hotel and it has a bed & breakfast available for me for two weeks. And it's still within a walking distance of Villa Lante, where our daily tours start. I'm quite fine with the deal. So, one more day of school (graduation ceremonies) and I'm on my way. ... of Kökar, back in the Ålands, so more flag-changing. What I was wanting to learn from a local as it were, was how far can one safely stray away from the route lines that denote the safe passages through the islands and his answer, netted down was, this is a popular cruising area, most rocks are now charted so if you keep to the white areas on the charts you’re safe, blue areas be more cautious but you should be OK. ... as it is, and then not to forget the 20 minute bus ride, followed by another 30 minute walk back to my gym floor, luckily I have my walking shoes on.

Sleep comes easily and I wake again around 10am with minimal distruptions apart from the fact I am using rolled up clothes as a pillow and I have earplugs and an eyemask, slightly unglamourous but the sleep of the exhausted... Bring on Saturday I have been waiting ages...
