... out of the maze of underground corridors it was around a fifteen minute walk to the centre of the 'old town' area. The walk itself has you passing stunning buildings and plenty of shopping so is a pleasant stroll (maybe unless you are pulling a wheelie case on the cobble stones!). Much of Gdansk was destroyed in WW2 and the reconstruction of the old town back ...

... miejsca na Sycylii, co więcej, mam kłopot z wybraniem mojego ulubionego miejsca na Sycylii. Po dłuzszym namyśle na tytułowe zdjęcie bloga wybrałam Zingaro - mimo wszystko przyroda wygrała ;) choć świątynie greckie były blisko w rankingu. Moze pokuszę się jeszcze o "The best of"; chciałabym tez namówić pozostałych, aby podzielili się swoim spojrzeniem na Sycylię w osobnym ...

... enjoyed the sunshine and feel no sadness with leaving tomorrow morning! Would I recommend it to fellow-travellers? I’m not sure – if you want to visit just to “tick that box”, then go for it! But, it is part of Russia, so it requires the complicated Russian Visa, though for holders of an EU Passport, you can get a 3-day Transit Visa, which is more than enough time!

... where they too have the same woman trapped inside the self service machines shouting "Problem in the bagging area" as in our own ASDA shops. We then took the food with us as we made our way to the beach. After taking the short ferry across the river, we found ourselves on the Curonian Spit, one of the longest spits in the world and then we walked across the spit, which had become forested for 15 minutes ...
