    ... point in the city, is seen as the guardian of the city and is commonly called a bonne mere (the good mother).

    Once we got into town, we took the long route around the harbor, grabbed a couple drinks and headed to the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, referred to as "Mucem".

    We walked a ton and now I'm finishing my night with a glass of wine and a good meal. Sante! (cheers!)

    First day in La Ciotat where Karine and Olivier live, right not the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Went to bed late, woke up a little late, and bummed around for part of the morning. Once afternoon struck we were off to Cassis to see what the coast had in store for us.

    ... lunch and returned the hotel. We relaxed around the pool until about 5:00 when we walked back downtown for a last bit of sight seeing and shopping. We had a wonderful dinner of Mussels and French Fries followed by specialty coffee and dessert. We returned to the hotel where the group met to cleanup any left over wine, etc. That is all for now, Cheeers ...

    ... the skull. He wrote a papal bull to state that it was without doubt that the jawbone belonged to that skull and was hers. The twins thought the skull was a bit creepy. We had some lunch first. We are getting cleverer at finding simple baguettes and brioche style lunches and I have worked out how NOT to be brought bottled water. With the 6 of us this can cost us up to 10€ but I did some sign language and pointed to another mans water and said "carafe d'eau?" ...
