The day after... Get everything out of the car, get it ready to go directly to Rio for the South America Challenge starting on Feb 14th. In between we arranged for it to be serviced in Thailand... Missed breakfast which is unusual for me. Walked down the main shopping drag. We were looking for lunch when a disheveled old man staggered and collapsed in front of us. I was first to him but a more useful lady who could speak Portuguese was next. He rolled over and had a bleeding gash in his forehead. ... I got tongue, tripe, fat, skin, bone and sausage in a bean and tomato sauce. I got through most of it, it didn't taste bad per say but it was hard to eat. Bit of a walk, bit of a siesta and then we geared up for the pub crawl. It was probably the highest level of involvement I've seen a hostel get.
