So, I came up with something I thought would work. I also took the extra precaution of covering my face and neck with mosquito repellant lotion. I decided that Frozen Ground was going to keep me awake. So, I turned it off and was asleep (mosquito net draped over my head). Last night in ...

I tried not to make a big deal of it, but I did enjoy making contact with the FLEUVE that is so historic. We walked back to the taxi and my entire body began to perspire. ... or so I thought. As I was getting settled in the room, with no warning the light bulb in the lamp on the left side of the bed suddenly exploded. All the lights went out.

In the dark, I found my camera bag and pulled out the little flashlight I keep there for such times. I walked to the front desk and explained the problem. They called the technician back. When he arrived, he needed to borrow my flashlight, he didn't have one. ...
