... checking into our lovely homestay, we had a BBQ to attend at my cousin Roger's house together with his lovely wife Danielle. Another family reunion after 3 years since I last saw them in England.

... before 2 pm and went to book a table tonight at The Old Spaghetti Factory near the bus stop. We then walked through the old buildings near the BC Museum of an old house and schoolhouse which we were able to go in.
Next we took a cute little water taxi to Fisherman's Wharf, very much like the False Creek Ferries. Unfortunately there were no seals there today but it is a fun place with a number of food places and quite a lot ...
... and if we had been a week later we would certainly have sat in the public gallery to hear the politicians in action. Across the road and back to the harbour we headed towards Fisherman's Wharf. This is a series of colourful floating homes wrapped up in a tourist precinct. The floating homes are in all shapes and colours and are home to family members ranging from 1 to 70. Watched our first seals here swimming lazily and gracefully ...
... Oh, and did I mention French cuisine? No doubt there will be many blogs that highlight French food and wines!
