... but not as many, but the Eagles were again in view along the shore lines. The cold had got to my bones on this trip, so once on shore we had tea and cake to warm ourselves. (Bread and butter pudding with custard and a Paris Brest with Earl Grey) this hit the spot as we checked through our photos to see if we'd managed to catch a fin or two! ... solved. Bam! Then got it home and looked at it closer. How the heck am I going to get through security easily at a minimum of 8 different points with something looking like this! Unfortunately this is likely a bigger inconvenience than sipping a bad cup of coffee. Heading back to MEC to return today :(

So the compromise is to take a stove top espresso maker which we have travelled with before - and had issues at security. But my plan this time is pull it ...

... time and our tummies were rumbling. On the way to an "eat where the locals eat" deli, we passed - then went back to - a Tibetan restaurant. OMG - the best vege curry with brown rice, kelp, red onion, gluten free wholegrain pappadam, spinach salad and gluten free pita you could ever want! Add one Okanagan Pale Ale and a Summer Special Blueberry Mojito - you couldn't ask for anything more. It was so YUMMY! And so with full tummies, we wandered ...

Really nice hotel with fantastic views.. still maintains lots of its old world charm even to the level of serving afternoon in the style of Raffles..

Well I recon the hotel gardener has not had a look at his job description...

so finally I am back at a hotel with 'free' wifi.

To retract - I bought a new mob phone to include internet, but as it was much faster than the hotel that I was staying in and I was a tad tired- I f'n blew my account out without even realising.

to quote 2 notable Australians. Maybe not such a good quote as it didn't end well for either of them.....

-okay lets get this thing done - so today, we left ...
