... that comfortable for eating - better for drinking)
We had a biryani chicken dish (Leith) and I had a lamb pie both delicious.
Our room has a harbour view and is a corner room which means we have a window overlooking the entrance of the hotel. This of course will make for the 4-5 days we are spending on train bunks.
Next day was all day at the Butchart Gardens, Shuttle buses go from outside the hotel about every hour. We managed to catch the 10:15am one

... Mandy's bag. Nothing! What he didn't tell her was that he had taken her handbag out of her backpack to scan that separately, so she picked up her backpack and off we headed to the gate. Now we can add 'no brains' to the 'no humour'. Inside we found that our flight had been delayed an hour, so I pulled out my phone to check the flight information, and Mandy decided to do the same, only to find that her handbag, phone, credit cards and goodness knows what else was missing, ...

... when out of no where this huge truck pulled out in front of the car in front of us and he slammed on his brakes which meant we had to slam on our brakes with no where to go but in the back of the car in front of us. ... over 50 detailed models of everything from futuristic space stations to a massive historical diorama of Canada from east to west coast, following the CPR line. Huge doll houses, scenes from famous novels, specifically Dickens, and historical battle scenes, to the huge travelling circuses of yesteryear. The photos can't really do justice to how intricate they were, but it was an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Souvenir shopping was next on the list for me, and ...
