Poolside in Cambodia!

A travel blog entry by eneliadmb

My day seven in Cambodia has been nothing but relaxing! A few days ago upon arrival my travel mates and I discovered a rooftop pool a mere few blocks away from our quaint guesthouse. I spent the day poolside on the seventh floor for the second time in two days taking in the breeze and soaking up the sun! The 95 degree weather was soothed by the …

After a ball breaking 12 hour bus trip (broke in 2) we finnaly reached Siem Reap. A Tuk Tuk driver took us to a really cheap hostel just $6 per night and organised taking us to Angkor Wat. He seemed really nice and spoke perfect English. He cost $15 and he picked us up at 8am and then took us to about 7 temples telling us what they all were. If you …

Marathon Journey

One thing I did do some study on was our next trip; the fastest and cheapest way to Siem Reap from Vientiane. Through many different opinions and differing advice, we decided on our route and were pushing to do the lot in one day. The challenge was set! We left Vientiane on the first bus out across the Laos/Thai friendship bridge border to Nong …

Belle petite ville touristique.
