... and just above the harbour. I booked a room with ocean views and we watched the sun set behind the clouds from our room after we checked in. Room is okay, view is great and the Hotel Victoria is an oak timber finished splendour. Built in 1897, it reminds me of the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba. Visit to St Michael's Mount at Marazion. Weather is fine, some clouds Rained overnight but fine today. We drove to Marazion where we walked across the causeway to St Michael's Mount. It has been a place of pilgrimage for 4000 years. It was built by the Benedictine Monks and then given to the St Aubyn family in 1540. They still live there, having extended and renovated over the centuries. We had a free tour of the village which was ...
