Flew in late, and met Morgan and Genie at Dave and Buster's, as described by our witty son, as a grown up Chuckie Cheese. I wasn't hungry, but when the huge plate of Nachos appeared, well, they were pretty tasty. Must be the altitude that helped my appetite, we ...

We did laundry (washed out those pukey clothes and towels!), got groceries, and got Thai take-out. We didn’t set an alarm for Saturday morning. It’s wonderful to rest as much as the body needs. We got up around 9:30, and after a bit, started to make breakfast. I ...

The Sixth Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 24, 2013

We woke up and went upstairs to have some really nice pancakes for breakfast. Then Dad, Chris and I went to Jax and then the lab. Jax was a outdoors store which sold fishing gear and bait which is what we needed to get. Near the car park there was a field where there were heaps of really cute prairie dogs digging holes on the ground and wagging their little tails. Then we went to the university where Chris worked at to feed some of his ...
