... the headlights no longer work! Back to the mechanics tomorrow!

I also only have two more weeks of work. This small sentence fails to convey the hours and hours and piles and piles of paperwork that still sit somewhat immovably on my desk before my official leave begins (i.e. me driving into Lidcombe and leaving my laptop at the ASRC).

... In Fremantle "Freo" we wandered the upscale shops and weekend market. One of the staple hangout places is a brewery/restaurant called Little Creatures. It's right on the harbour and after our indecision on what to drink they offered for us a sample of each beer. Fremantle in general is a really clean and outdoorsy type of place. In the central park we hung out and watched all the little Gromies rolling around in the skate park.

... the bridge which actually didn't take as long as we had thought, around 20 minutes all in all including photo stops as its amazing point to see the Sydney Opera House. On route I found out that the Opera House is in fact three separate buildings and not one as I had first thought - see travelling does broaden your mind.

... pack as much as possible into our weekends before we left.

We finally visited the National Maritime Museum and got to explore a few different ships including of course the replica HMS Bark Endeavour, the ship that started it all! It’s crazy that this tiny little ship with basic amenities and cramped conditions made it all the way here! We also got to look around a much larger Australian Navy Ship and a submarine as well.
