Beth, Sabrina and I walked down to the local grocery store to buy some marshmellows and other ingredients to make smores in our campfire after dinner. When we got back Blake had the fire going.

Dinner consisted of fresh salad and vegetables, fruit, cheese, hommus, pate and fresh bread. I think we were all happy with this as it was nice and light, not to mention refreshing after our big lunch.

... some positive signs I took Alex up the big hill and got him on some of the easier runs on the mountain. Although it took a while to get to the bottom I could tell that he was loving it! We kept going over and over and over and by the end of the day I took him down his first blue run. He was hooked. We went back down to find Matt, Chris and Kellie, but couldn't find them anywhere ...

... dropped in and went to hit the first jump without riding passed it first to check it out. The markers on the side of the jumps are an indication of how big the jumps are and I saw what looked to me like an S for small. ... Alex and the dog's disappointment. This continued for the entire time I was driving for the next half an hour right up until the last 4 or so minutes when I finally got the hang of turning the bloody thing. We stopped at a lodge, had a hot chocolate and got to warm our feet by another fire place which was well deserved. Alex was happy because he got to dry his clothes off.
