With reluctance we left Prague. It is a beautiful city with wonderful people and we would go back in a heart beat. But we have to leave and took a train to Vienna. Barry always gets nervous about taking a train in Europe as you stand in a circle staring at a screen and wait for them to put a platform number next to your train. You then have 5-10 minutes to run to your train with suitcases in tow. It's never fun and always stressful. Today, a nice man saw we were having a ...

... so here are three....Adolfo Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Sigmond Freud. The city was also the home of some 'mega' great, epic, amazing, musical geniuses like.....Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss. So, all in all I think it is fair to say that Vienna is not only pretty awesome today, but the city has played a key role in producing and shaping key events in European history. Importantly...the city centre is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. So that brings my tally up to 5 ...

... and most importantly people - way too many people. So back to the Hop-On Hop-Off Vienna tour. It was terrific, the earphones in, the volume turned down, I was asleep in minutes. The muted sounds of Beethoven, Strauss and Mozart worked a treat. All in all, we did three circuits and four hours of bad weather avoidance. Conveniently, we hopped off the last bus at the famous Hundertwasser Museum which housed 'Tian' a renowned vegetarian restaurant and by then I'd gained quite ...
