Today is the day I'm leaving Switzerland to go shopping, and I took the train to get to Germany. I went to LAGO which is located in Konstanz. I purchased items for my family and Swiss family, and items for myself. Shopping was fun and a good way to end my trip. I also liked seeing the different clothes and items, which many are different from what we have in the U.S. After I was done shopping I took the train back to Winterthur, and packed my bags. ...

We're heading to Aosta in the Italian Alps for 10 days then a couple of weeks in Val Ferret, Switzerland then loafing somewhere else in the mountains til the end of July. We had a great day sailing on Anne and Axel's boat. Neither of us had ever sailed before. From Lake Konstanz you can see Switzerland, Germany and Austria at once. Pretty amazing. Anne and Axel also showed us around the old part of Konstanz which has buildings from the 1300s. Ruins have been found from as early as 400 A.D. So crazy. The town avoided bombs ...
