    ... in other places there were pots of well cared for geraniums. Perhaps the lawn mowing is left to the city. Also Frankfurt seems to me to be dirty despite having seen lots of people sweeping. Lots of cigarette butts between all the amazing cobbles. A couple of the others on the tour commented how clean Frankfurt is, so perhaps it's the comparison with Hong Kong, or purely the number of smokers.
