    Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow.     ... Parade as it was titled here.

    The parade lasted the better part of an hour and we were at the very start so we saw it all when everybody was fresh. Words are not enough.

    After the parade we strolled up toward the shopping district and went to the top floor of the Galleria department store where they have a restaurant and a lovely view of the city. A cold beverage was had by all.

    ... have liked to have known that beforehand but we left with no bitemarks so all is well.

    At airport security we found out we had packed a Swiss army knife we had bought in our carry-on instead of checked luggage. We were allowed to keep it since the blade was under the prohibited length but it was a close call.
