We loved our stay in Tutzing.

It is a very small town on the most beautiful lake.

I could of sat on that jetty for hours, except it was 2 degrees and we have 3 kids.

We managed a couple of hours while the kids played on the waters edge.

Such a peaceful and serene place.

We visited Neuschwanstein Castle, the one that Walk Disney based his castle on. ...

We were at the lake for awhile.

We went to a castle. Disneyland copied this castle.

We drove to the bottom of the mountain and parked, and then walked to the top the mountain.

This castle was owned by King Ludwig 2.
Also known as the fairy tale prince.

... pretty interesting and more modern than I expected. King Ludwig II lived in a fantasy and the interior of the castle reflected it. The tour guide was pretty interesting as well and it seemed like he had learned English from count Dracula while living in Ireland. The castle is one of the top tourist attractions in Germany and it also has a bit of romance. Perfect Valentines day.

I got up early at 7am, as today was a tour day. I breakfast was quick as i had to get to the meeting point quickly. I then went back to the room and got ready for the day. I left the hostel and walked across the road from the station where the tour pick up was. I meet up with mum and dad and we checked into the tour, got on the bus and the bus left Munich.
