Had breakfast at 8 am with Horst before he went to work at his Hansatouristik office in Contrescarpe Strasse. We walked the 3 km into the Hauptbahnhof to hire bicycles for the day and complete the River cycle tour. The causeway is seven kilometres long, we’d planned on having lunch on the island but couldn't readily find ...

It was very romantic. We come up to Lake Emmasee and find our Ruderboots (rowboats) we wanted to rent! They were old school wooden boats that looked idyllic in the water. The shallow river system goes in a 3 mile circle around the park. We ...

... It is famous for its unusual architecture. This street put is right along the Weser River. There was a lot of commotion going on so we decide to check it out. There were a lot of food booths and music playing so I'm assuming it was some fair. We walk along the river and come upon a row of Biergardens. Yes! We stop at Feldmann's Biergarden and grab a brew. After that we keep exploring. We come across Schnoor street. ...
