... the ride out to the island with someone else doing all the rowing work. On the island you get half an hour to explore the church and climb the clock tower and do a quick walk around the island before boarding the row boat back. Lake Bled is such a photogenic little town and from every ...

Probably not going to get over that randomness anytime soon) the 'DRD' guy sees me, and frantically waves me over, 'Here!' Points to a van with 'DRD transfers Mestre to Ljubljana' Written on the side that was just pulling up as we walked over. No we did not have any.
It would have been a great run up to the castle but alas Simon was unable to do that as too ...

... time another person came up indicating he too was to have someone pick him up and he was told the same thing I was. We started talking. His name was Raymond and he was going to be on the tour. His luggage was lost and was told it would be delivered to hotel later.
The man we had been talking to earlier came back in and said he called and he could take us to the hotel. Thank goodness I did not have to wait longer. I was tired and wanted to take a ...

We had rooms in a nice B&B near the center of the tourist district where there are many attractive bridges, buildings in different styles, fountains and the river. It reminds me a lot of Salzburg as well as Strasbourg.
We had a Mexican dinner the first night that was huge and cost very little but then we went for a walk a d found d a beautiful patisserie with some gorgeous cakes and had supper there with ...
