Not as much travelling today! only 2 trains and a coach . We arrived at about 2 o clock in a light snow storm. It's definitely colder up here in the mountains. Very different Hotel to last night. Much more olde worlde and full of character. Some of us are in what they call a suite in a seperate building at the rear of the Hotel. ... that the King's bedroom was a day scene, but when his son (Ludwig) took over, he changed it to a night scene because night was his favorite (in the ceiling, there were stars and a moon; per the tour guide, servants lit oil lamps above the bedroom to make the stars and moon glow).
