We decided to actually have a sit down meal for dinner for once rather than street food, and we really wanted to try beer fish.     ... from the travel doctor, and though I didn't think I was exactly suffering from what it was meant for, I took the antibiotic. Everyone on the trip was very kind, as we had to handle our own luggage (and the handle broke off Stan's bag, just to make things more unmanageable) and helped us every way they could, even getting me a plastic stool to sit on in the customs hall when they saw me sitting on the floor.     We hopped on our "sleeper" train around 8 PM and embarked on our 16-hour long ride to Guilin. Luckily, we shared a room with the quietest Chinese man I've met on this trip so far. Sleeping came easy, however, each stop occurred with a loud clunk, jolt; and off the train went again. Arriving in Guilin was extremely overwhelming as it is a major hub and super touristy.     Jaila who lives and studies in Beijing was in the midst of her summer vacation had to leave the next day in order to head off to Hong Kong where she had a flight back north (with a stop in Korea), in order to board a plane for home. And then there were three.
