Monday we unfortunately could not locate the track to the seal colony from Parkinson's creek so instead satisfied ourselves by following the 2.5 km botanical loop which included Botany Bay and Botanical Beach. ... views of the harbour, a four poster bed for Smoothie and I that needed a little step stool to climb into! Ahhhhhhhhh We spent the afternoon exploring the town and enjoying the facilities of our hotel. Lunch was hotdogs and sodas! ... I was getting tired from all the driving. I decided to start heading back to Jasper and on my way back I came across a black bear crossing the road. It was too far ahead for me to have been able to get a good picture, so it'll just have to remain as a mental note. Made it to the airport with out issue... In true Work fashion we were early (slight overestimation of the Colwood crawl).
