      ... awesome, and reminded me of doing the puzzle of it with mum years and years ago. After Van Gogh I was feeling a bit down, because it had just gone New Years in Australia and I was missing everyone. So I went for a nice long walk around the city.       ... of the house where the secret annex was. Anne plus her family and another family hid here for two years (July 6, 1942 - August 4, 1944) until being betrayed then arrested. They were taken to Auschwitz where Anne died one month prior to liberation, from typhus. Her father was the only one, out of 8 ppl hiding, who survived. We got off and walked past the home where Anna Frank wrote here Diary, We continued walking these old streets along the canals, looking at the Old Church and the New Church, to my eye they both looked pretty old.
