Off to Heathrow for a flight down south
... it Wetherspoons indulging in our first holiday drink. Looks like the blog may be short lived as the bag with all the chargers in it, does not appear to have one for the iPad. Panic over, found myself in the Dixon travel shop and they had just what I've always wanted, a world traveler iPad charging pack for a mere £35, rather pleased I didn't forget anything that would have been expensive. Back home again
... was quick, the luggage waiting for us (very impressive) and we just straight onto the Heathrow Express. This got us nicely into paddington to connect with the 1806 so we were back in Home by 2130 tired but glad we had made that train as the next we 2 hours later.
All in all a fantastic holiday which went like clockwork and we both enjoyed every second. Thanks for everyone who commented, we read them with great interest and the odd laff.

Picture Perfect Polperro

... shone down!
Most of us experienced a few wistful moments as the ghosts of Brian Parker, Bob Delahay, Doc Berry, Bob Spratt, Brian Price, John Peake, Dave Lodge and many others drifted before our aging eyes as we looked across the course, which even following some re-arrangement, is still wholly recognisable. Great memories, great days and how lucky we are too have been part of it all.

Home Again
Friday 28th September
Journey's end for me, arrived about 2pm after being mete at the Airport by my wife and Marion a friend who drove the car as my wife don't drive any further than Exeter.
It was a short and expensive trip to the South of France but enjoyable and one of those things you have to put down to experience.
