... the fruit that was hanging over our room. Asked Juan Carlos, the gardener, what the name of the fruit was and he told us, maranon. Looked up the word in Google Translate and it is a cashew tree. The fruit over our room is yellow and the nut is on the outside of the fruit in an hard shell. The monkey will sit and eat the fruit and the juice is dribbling down his chin as he does so and when finished just lets the fruit drop, wham ...

After Tyler drove to Samara and described it we have decided to go there next. Better, sandier, beaches. We will see. We have been cooking in the room as best we can because it is so much cheaper. Things are way too expensive here...but we are learning what to buy and what to avoid. It's all learning.

... and the waterfalls and are shower finally gets fixed and there's warm water and I like Montezuma and the Jewelry stands and the coconut trucks and watermelon trucks and the smoothie stands and some of the markets are close and the bike rides and I cant wait to go horse back riding and I like everything about Costa Rica you can drink water everywhere except the ocean. Costa Rica is GREAT!!!

Back to dinner at La Naranja, we ate another great meal for less than $40, with tip. It pays to find the small hole in the wall places.
