Yesterday & today we had/ have 2 shows in the afternoon, then we get tomorrow (Monday) off to go exploring! Tami & I hope to get a massage back at the hotel after our shows tonight, although I tried to call & book last night & they told me to call back the same day we want the massage, apparently they don’t take bookings a day in advance!

We have 12 people in our intrepid group who we got to meet that evening and got to know each other better during dinner at a nearby restaurant. I had my first Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice) of the trip with fried chicken and my Bintang beer. The watress must have known who I was as I was given a 1 liter bottle of beer which she gave the guy's a small regular bottle. ha-ha! ... skin. Even with the dark skin you could see the red coloring on the back of their legs. I was heartbroken. Christiaan and Tania said this was sometimes normal but, thankfully, this was the only day I've seen it in my time here. Some of the other performers were the large costume Deities walking around, there was a man making a skeleton marionette doll dance, among other kids dressed up in costume and make-up to look like Deities also.

... Indonesia. Met up with Katherine and Ioana, the 2 girls we met in Yogya, in the evening for some drinks. Had a lot of fun with them and Binna even got a small present from the girls :)
Were pretty hungover so slept until 2 pm or something. Went to another mall (there are SO many big malls in Jakarta) to have something to eat and finally bought that waterproof camera we had been thinking about the whole trip :)
