We all took very similar photos and ended the visit with a selfie of us in the rain. Melanie took the prize with her 'what thyme is it joke, she'd picked some thyme and out it on her wrist and thought she was so funny. We always like visiting Glastonbury with its different feel and ...

... write in saying 'flippen eck, no pump, map so old it's in Latin, and now NO brakes....' In my defense I had the bike serviced a week before I left and said to the mechanic 'I'm off to John O Groats so change anything that needs changing within reason' I assumed such things as brakes fitted into the 'within reason' but there I go making assumptions again....

Well, surely the brakes will last another 200 odd miles I thought to myself and off I went. ...
