    ... Restormel only saw action once during the Civil war during Charles I rein. After this is basically fell into ruins. However, it is still a nice castle to see today. The surrounding countryside is very nice and you could picture walking through the forests during the castle's heyday and hunting for deer.     ... and roll another dice to show if you hit the enemy or not. The other game was when you had a flag and you rolled the dice to see what your mission was. The first to complete the mission wins. It was like a board game with a story in it. Dressing up as one of the Navy team was really fun, I dressed up as the person who guides the plane onto the ship, while Alexander dressed up as the person who loads missiles onto them.     ... write in saying 'flippen eck, no pump, map so old it's in Latin, and now NO brakes....' In my defense I had the bike serviced a week before I left and said to the mechanic 'I'm off to John O Groats so change anything that needs changing within reason' I assumed such things as brakes fitted into the 'within reason' but there I go making assumptions again....

    Well, surely the brakes will last another 200 odd miles I thought to myself and off I went. ...
