A trip to town on Saturday rewarded us with the spectacle of the children’s carnival. The costumes were just wonderful, presumably organised by the school or class, judging by the banners. ... become annoyed with myself that i have forgotten my large camera, and only have my small one as a rescue. It is better than nothing!

A mix of big town madness with busy streets and confusing parking bays before siesta and a dozy old world charming village if you climb to the Church of the true cross atop the hill and return to the old town during siesta.
