Was lovely driving up past ill waster and brought kirkstone pass up to the inn, got colder and colder and snowier and snowier! Intended to stop at the kirkstone pass inn for a coffee if not lunch, but we were too early and it was shut. Had a bit of a ...

Had a very blustery walk down to Buttermere after lunch, where the race started and finished. Was very very windy, and cold, but managed to get there and back with minor mud and poo catastrophes. Returned to the lodge for ...

We have arrived at our little lodge for the week! Had a good run up the M6, took us about two and half hours after eventually leaving at least two hours behind schedule. Nana and grandad arrived shortly after too. Really nice to come back the lodge after 3 years away, our entry is still in the guest book! Had a ...
