... More than basic but such a cool spot, happy time again!

Dominica is not easy to backpack but I got lucky and I didn't regret choosing this one. The island remains untouched and is beautiful, actually the one I preferred in all the Caribbean, keep that in mind readers! ;)

OK, next! Let's meet Damien the French guy again. Dominica doesn't really have marinas so I didn't try to hard to find sailing boats, knowing that my ferry ticket was bought anyway...

... get $US25 for our outside cabin !!!

Showed that to Doug when I returned to the cabin and I looked at Lemon Laptop, turned it on and noticed that it was still at the troubleshooting page. Saw that there were no bars on the icon – it may have had a skull and cross bones over them for all I know - but it wasn’t working. I clicked on the troubleshooter again and again it came up with a few things that I couldn’t do - eg for the first time ...

... to foreigners. That is, there are some junky tourist shops, but nothing with decent items to buy. I think some of it was due to there not being a cruise ship in port, so many vendors weren't out and we got unwanted attention from those that were. The weather turned quite hot as well - Roseau is in a rain shadow, with most rain falling on the east side of the island due to the mountains, and the climate was more arid and hot. An hour later, the four of us met back at the cruise ...

... down the coast which had a reggae band on and entertained them all !! somehow I got back onboard missing a flipflop ah well.
31/1 we got up early and went on the Indian river trip- rowed up a river surrounded by buttress mangroves – totally quiet, until the rower “Lawrence of Arabia” phone went off

... our meal was completed after dessert. But no, one last course to go. They brought out a second dessert service for us – a two-tiered silver tray holding a variety of seven mini sweets including chocolate, mango tart, and a tiny raspberry/chocolate sponge cake (I’m running of ways to say delicious!)
