... up talking to the MC of the game beforehand trying to ensure a place on a certain team. They wouldn’t promise her anything. Then, shortly before the teams were announced…they decided to go another way…make it a purely audience participation game. Drats…there went my only opportunity to be a) on a gameshow, and b) on television. Oh well…my luck, I would have ended up on HER team…and I would have had to slug her…just on ...

... about how freaked out I was in the beginning. We drove up to Fresh Water Lake and Traflegar Falls. The lake was shrouded in mist and very damp. But I stuck my foot in and the water was not that cold. It is supposed to be 60' deep and have large fish in it. It is fed from runoff from the highest mountain on Dominica. Last night was spent under the stars listening to the sounds of Michael Buble. The likeness was very good and this was amplified by the pre dinner martini and the wine with dinner. The breeze was warm, the weather perfect.
We arrived in Dominica this morning and no tender was required. ...

... its glory. About 125 feet tall, in a sheer single curtain of water some 15 feet wide, Sari Sari Falls thundered down, crashing into a pool surrounded by huge boulders. The mist created by the smashing water coated everything - including the SLR lens I used to get maybe 6 photos. I apologize in advance for the water droplets in any picture, although it was a bit ***********trol! The full group arrived and we spent around 15 minutes taking pictures, wading in pools ...
