      ... Cardiologist. What will happen next, who knows. But we will, no doubt keep you informed.

      So I'm sorry but the planned 9 weeks blog is a sad 2 weeks only. I hope you enjoy what there is and ANY comments on here will be hugely and gratefully received. That way I know you have read it and that IF we are lucky enough to do anymore travel in the future, I will blog again.

      ... any sites in Spain until I know when or if I am sailing so at the moment everything is extremely uncertain..

      In the mean time I have bought myself a teach-yourself Spanish course and I promised that I would do a bit every day. Well of course that hasn't happened! I don't speak a word of Spanish and hadn't realised how hard I was going to find it. Because it is stretching my brain I can only work on the course when I am feeling bright ...

      ... the hill stations of India, only lacking passengers on the roof! Not ideal! Its a slow train stopping at every conceivable place but eventually we are at the Virgin desk, booked in, cases gone and at the restaurant of the Premier Inn wine in hand! This is more like it, the holiday has definitely started now.


      Pictures will follow but knowing the wifi situationin Cuba and central America, you will have to wait!!!!!I

      ... catch-up of family news over good food.

      Then drove on across Dartmoor again. Stopped to climb to a Tor on Burrator Moor before driving to Lee Moor and on to Ivybridge.

      Stayed again with Jenny and Rhidian, whom we stayed with in February. Another lovely night in front of a roaring fire with good food and lots of chatting. Great to see them ...

      Tuesday finally arrives and we're on the 1803 out of Exeter St David's after a quick beer in the Great Western. As we pull out we dig into our supplies, I head to the buffet car to pilfer some ice and we settle back to enjoy a couple of G&T's. Slightly embarrassing as the bottle of tonic all but explodes over the laptop of the guy sitting opposite, but it's only a toshiba, so I'm not overly concerned.
