... Several people got off the bus we were there so long. Rather helpfully, the driver gave a reason for the stoppage - in German only - so we still had not freaking idea what was going on. One would think that on a tour bus, perhaps messages about current happenings would be given in a couple of languages??

Anyway it turns out that there are Egyptian people protesting against the Egyptian President Sisi, and saying that the European Union and the USA ...

We started our walking tour at 9 this morning and it happened to be the hottest day they've had so far this summer at 35 degrees so we were all dripping with sweat by the end of it! We started outside the Parliament building and our guide explained how Hitler came to be in power by overthrowing the government and his vision of turning Berlin into the capital of the world. ... paying the respective amount. On our way back to the Hostel we stopped by a Gelato place. I had a blueberry and strawberry flavor for 2 euro.

We did quite a lot today seeing as how we didn't get any sleep. We got back and I met some cool people from Vancouver and chatted with them for a while. Tomorrow the plan is to go on a free tour offered by the hostel. We are going to check out wha tour small town has to offer!
