... much to S's unspoken relief I'm sure.

We had room service dinner, with a wonderful view of the marina and Signal Hill - it was too dark or cloudy to see Table Mountain. The wonderful Sheena of Country Holidays Singapore had managed to get us a complimentary upgrade for both rooms - so we had a Marina and Table Mountain view - fantastic!

We all had an early night - we needed to be ready at 9AM tomorrow - to 'rock and roll', as G said.

During our drive in the National Park we saw our first wild life, baboons and a ...

Hullo humans, forgive me if I don't remember everything today, it was very overwhelming. Woke up, breakfast, cab. We went down to the waterfront and got on the boat to Robben Island. We sat on the upper deck. I had the sun gleaming on me while the wind blew my hair back. On the way, we saw seals. Did you know that the Dutch word ...

... here the less dramatic this image becomes, I'm thinking the locals don't even see them at all.... After arriving in the city we registered for the Two Oceans Marathon and made our way to our ostentatious villa in Camps Bay which would be home for 5 nights. Camp's Bay is like a rich and funky version of Manly and the place to hang out if you want to be seen hanging out (obviously thus was why we were here). Unfortunately we had a LOT of trouble organising accommodation in Cape ...
