An early rise as today Paul's off to Oshkosh an 0830 flight not that that really mattered in the end as Alaskan airlines managed to delay his flight to such an extent that he was around 3 to 4 hours late arriving in Chicago This meant a VERY late arrival at Oshkosh (around 1045pm) but knowing Paul I am sure being there means everything. We eat one final buffet breakfast before loading up the van. We head north on the 101 until Reedsport and then veer off on the 32 to eventually link up ...

... Seattle is the sheer volume of cars on the I-5. It reminds me that everything in the States screams more to my wee Canadian ways: cars, people, ads, portions of food etc.

We arrive into the small town of Castle Rock around 3 pm, hit the local supermarket to load up on groceries and check in to our campsite at Seaquest National Park with plenty of sunlight left.
