    An early rise as today Paul's off to Oshkosh an 0830 flight not that that really mattered in the end as Alaskan airlines managed to delay his flight to such an extent that he was around 3 to 4 hours late arriving in Chicago This meant a VERY late arrival at Oshkosh (around 1045pm) but knowing Paul I am sure being there means everything.     ... The ask cloud blotted out the sun in cities as far away as Butte, MT. several inches thick of ask was deposited in farmlands within interior Washington. Seeing pictures of the Mt. St. Helens before and looking at it now is really something to see and unimaginable....it was a catastrophic explosion that no one in this area will ever forget.

    ... our travels, we visited the National Kite Museum which displayed kits from all over the world. By the time we were done, we headed for a late lunch/early dinner and with all the exercise we got today, we needed a nice cold cocktail. Delicious, delicious clam chowder at the Castaways Restaurant....had to be the best I've ever had. Ended our time alone with some window shopping before we picked up Sandy.

    ... just after it had happened so we couldn't do anything until it was cleared...so being the duties we are, we all jumped out and watched /talked to the other motorbike riders for the inside scoop! :) We came back for dinner, took Ryland to the played ground, and then we sat around the campfire. Later on I learned the game Cribbage, and Jo and I even won! Beginners luck! :) We went to bed by 11:30ish... And maybe tonight's a solid sleep!! From Seaquest again... goodnight and goodbye! ...

    ... to be, to come out here. I wonder what they would think of our version of a wagon train in these houses on wheels? Maybe they would be ticked that they had not been born a hundred and some years later or maybe they would just simply say, no thank you! Maybe they would have a hard time understanding why a person would want to hurry along so much in their journey. I can just hear them now....The east coast to the west coast in two weeks?
