... colds by the end of the day. I made sure to put on my new compression shirt, which ended up saving the day for me, and left my room intent on enjoying myself. The drive to the game reserve took about 2 hours, and I made sure to sleep at least three-quarters of the way there. Once we arrived, we were served breakfast, and then around 10:15, we were loaded into trucks for a drive out on the reserve.

Yesterday we used the red route so today we're going blue and see some new stuff ;-) The bus came around 12:10 and we headed down to places we hadn't yet visited and also around the back side of Table Mountain. ... had LOADS of time to get there, even having a coffee and brekkie on the way, only to be met by a massive United Air check-in mob where priority flight times meant nothing and we were minutes away from missing the flight. Not knowing what to expect as I walked to the doorway a couch was pushed at me and a woman tells me to close the bottom half of the open two sectioned door. Laureta was pushed into the small living room in a wheel chair, at this point it was apparent why the couch had to be moved. ... finally descended far enough down to reach the funicular. Even there the wind was nasty, but nothing compared to higher up.
