So we left around 12 o’clock under an amazing blue sky and
went to see Hout Bay. The road from Constantia to Hout Bay is so beautiful and
green! You know when you think of Africa you see some desert places with burned
grass and trees. Maybe in other places it’s like that but not in Cape Town. I
mean there is places without trees, etc… but there is although very green

This special area is where we saw all these penguins just standing on the beach and we saw several that were molting, some had dug holes and were sitting in them, a few were swimming close to the water edge. It was just incredible to see so many on a small section of the beach. We took way too many pictures, but ...

... to anything you were holding, let alone my long hair, that kept whipping me in the face! Once we got to the other side of the mountain, facing the water, it was incredibly peaceful. I didn't want to leave. I could have sat there, on the rocks, and meditated for hours or days! It was beautiful.

... it'll make us safe. It was with a heavy heart that I stepped onto that South African Airlines A340 aircraft taking me home. I cherished every minute that the plane was still on the tarmac, cause I was still on African soil. Once we were in the air, I knew every second was taking me further away from my friends.
