Heute hatten wir eine 8-stündige Fahrt, welches wir relativ gut überstanden haben. Entweder
schlafen, Landschaft betrachten, Musik hören oder beim ersten "Javanischen Pubquiz" mitmachen. Etwa 50 Fragen zu Sport, Geschichte, Geographie, Musik usw. wurden gestellt und in einem Team galt es die richtige Antwort zu wissen.

Funny Story: At dinner, I told the locals that it was my friend Natalie's birthday.
They came to our table singing with the guitar, brought a crown of leaves for her to wear, and even brought some special lucky paint. We were all told to dip our fingers into the paint and make marks on her face in order to wish her a year of good luck.

We are both safe and well and in a remote area of Sumatra with no WiFi which is why we have been quiet but today managed to access the Internet where sadly we found a message to say that Jo,s mum has passed away. This is when you realise just how far away we are and throughout our travels ...
