The ride to the Belize boarder from Flores was a little under two hours. The border between Belize and Guatemala is a joke by North American standards. We went in a line, paid 3 dollars American and had our passports stamped, wandered around a bit trying to figure out where to go next to find customs. This was even less stressful, if you ignore the …

Hello from Belize!

Monkeys and Mayans

Had a night in Belize city (weird, but not bad) and then zipped along to San Ignacio, via Belize zoo - definitely the best zoo I´ve been too, really jungly and the kissing tapirs were very cute! San Ignacio seemed quiet and dull, until about 9pm, when the sped up versions of Madonna songs and inexcusable cheese boomed through our room (I take it …

Stayed only 1 night. Lady that showed us in was super helpful, rooms were clean, good price, and bathroom had hot water. No Wifi but there are several internet cafes as well many restaurants have wifi. A little noisy as it is on a main road
