... Navarette about 8km from Logrono. By 9 we were only on outskirts, through that big park area and the sun was setting. We were heading into countryside but it was really too late to walk further. A lovely Spanish lady out walking her dog rang a taxi for us. Arrived in hostel El Cantaro 9.30. Room crammed with 6 bunks. Smallest room on Camino so far. Not much sleep, people up and about all ...

... pour La Rochelle où il avait son avion à 14 heures et Jamieson lui a continué son chemin vers Lastres. Whilst Spike was with us, the weather was not really good and it was cloudy most of the days therefore we have spent most days inside rather than outside. We all had great fun ...

James arrived and gave me a huge hug in the car park. I followed JP from the village a further 2.5 km up a mountain ... Parked up ...

Very often our GPS takes us on some alternate routes, however we try to keep faith and our GPS always comes through with the goods. Whenever we drive towards a surf beach in Spain it always takes us through the industrial areas. Most of which look abandoned with broken windows and weathered buildings. It seems that the whole west coast of Spain has a shipping port therefore an industrial area ...

With the excitement of landing some work in France for the next year it also means that we have had to cut our road trip short and miss travelling down the coast of Portugal. It's not all bad news though...none of it really is considering we will have so much more time now to explore the rest of Europe. Thanks again goes to the mechanic from Gijion because it now means we have the time to go back and explore places that ...
