    ... that was really good, and a perfect way to start our the weekend away. It was a short hour and a half flight to Santa Marta, and as soon as we got off the plane, the heat hit me. What a huge difference from Bogota to here! It’s really hot and really humid. That’s a combination I haven’t been used to since I left Cuba.

    We decided to try Radio Burger for something to eat, they also happened to be on Happy Hour, two for one cocktails. We supped away on Margaritas while our burger orders were being prepared.     ... typical) we panicked a little but eventually got there... We checked in and signed straight up for the Chiva bus tour - ha this wasn't your typical bus tour! This tour left the hostel at 10pm, had an abundance of booze on board and played of course the tackiest of music! It even had a dancing pole... One guess as to who was queen of the pole? Very 'enjoyable' night which may have accidentally ended in a brothel which subsequently got raided ...

    ... They even come with mosquito nets in some places like Tayrona. You could be sucked dry in Tayrona by all the flying bugs. Zoe slept really well and enjoyed it, me not so much as I like sleeping on my front which is impossible in a hammock without dislocating your back. Tomorrow we hike back to civilisation to Santa Marta so we can watch the FA Cup final and hopefully I will be able to call my dad and wish him a HAPPY ...
