A block away from main street is a great park off the Missouri River.
If you find yourself visiting the greater St. Louis area a side trip to downtown St. Charles should be added to your itinerary.

Fireflies! Yes, for the first time in our lives,(neophytes that we are),we see fireflies through the open flap in our tent. Scott is beside himself with excitement! We arrived at Steamboat Junction at dark last night. Clean showers in unique and uber clean little huts and rest rooms. Not another soul in sight. Everything seems to be on the honor system. We couldn't find any check in system, but there was a sign saying there were sodas and goodies ...

A Journey's End...or Just the Beginning?
