... and the place where the Colonel put together his secret eleven herbs and spices. Julie was rather excited, leaving her door unlocked and almost falling over on the way into the place. There is a mini-museum there and we got a crispy strip each to celebrate our lucky stumble onto this piece of food history.

That is the blog for this week, next week’s states include West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and we will be spending three nights in the capital, Washington DC. ...

... play some catch. Jodi of corse took pictures. By 3:00 pm, we were ready to just stop and get out of the car. We decided we would head for London, Kentucky for the night. We got into our Holiday In Express around 5:00. After, settling in we needed to get a few items at the local Walmart. It was then that a miracle happened, we found a Golden Coral to eat dinner! This place was awesome, and our dinner was great. I ...

We got to our camping site at about 10 after almost 12 hours of solid driving. Poor Dave. He did such an amazing job, driving most of it (although he wasn't being a hero, he was just hogging the mustang :p) and then had to put up with me since I didn't get to sleep until 4am. He ...

Woke up this morning to 22 degrees and clear. Yesterday it snowed on and off all day although it never did stick to the ground. Now we have officially reached the coldest weather we will probably see on our trip. Love our down comforters.

Today we drove to Bowling Green, Kentucky where we will be for three nights.
