... meeting the store owners and getting free samples: cheese, wine, gelato and dips! Everything was so fresh and the prices are very similar to the supermarket prices so it is such a great alternative to enjoy local food!

The exciting part of the day is that the head of the society that ran that food tour 'adopted' me. She is a third year student and is kind of like my mentor but also is in charge of running a bunch of events for all the children ...

Successful journey to my home for the next 9 months! I have been up for 29 hours now (although slept 1 hour on the plane) but my excitement from finally being here is overshadowing my exhaustion!
