... walking up the steps we made our way over to the 'Pantheon' which is impressive in it's own right. Everything just seems so huge over here. It's like if it's not massive it's not worth doing. After the Pantheon we thought we would head towards what we thought was the centre of Rome. Turns out we were walking in the complete opposite direction and we stumbled across the 'Fontena di Trevi' or more simply the Trevi fountain. Unfortunately it was getting ...

They have scientifically proven that a man's remains are buried there and there are indications they are from a man who died in the year that St Peter was supposed to have died and in the same manner as well. Pretty interesting.

Lastly we paid to walk up the 500 steps to the top of the basilica which is the tallest building in Rome and provided an amazing view of the city! See ...

... the wedding vow renewal would go. While talking to him, a man from the US – Rob – walked up to us and congratulated us on 28 years of marriage. He and his wife, Kim, were in Rome to renew their vows on Saturday and said they’d be praying for us. They were a really nice couple from Michigan and Rob ended up taking photos of the ceremony. Fr. John gave a wonderful sermon about ...
