A bit of back and forth reattaching the awning but we eventually cracked it! Then delish barbie of chicken and steak and bits before Sherlock Holmes movie and sleepy bed! Toilet breaks were enhanced by the beautifully clear sky and the very nearly full moon. Thursday The original plan for today was to visit the gardens in Villandry. We arrived at Camping Le Pont Romain, ACSI 1458 at lunchtime so had to wait two hours for reception to reopen so we headed to a supermarket. We were pretty miffed that the book had claimed "a few kilometres from the town centre" and we are actually 5 miles from Le Mans. We looked on the satnav for any campsites closer ...

... had some fun playing with the baby goats... But also had a lot of fun getting to know people from the other French YWAM bases playing volley ball (at the expense of a good pair of shorts which ripped from top to bottom... In the worst place).

The main point of the conference is to get the YWAM bases in the nation of France together like a family, and share what's been going on in each individual base. During this time, we all get to share outreach ...
