... other peoples rings as we floated to the next bar. It also made it easier when we needed to stop as people grabbed us and helped pull us in. We floated for around half an hour before stopping at the next bar. There were loads of activities to keep punters entertained including croquet, volleyball, hammock area, table tennis and many more. ... the river but due to the amount of people drowning (26) the Australian government made a deal with Laos to close the majority of the bars down. I think 4 or so Aussies died within a couple of months of each other which prompted Australia's involvement. Both bars had music and beer pong and I met some nice Australian girls. ... spent about an hour using the 6m one! This was so cool and the tuk tuk ride back was just amazing, a few of us sneaked onto the roof of the tuk tuk while it was moving along and saw the sun set over these beautiful mountains with all the local workers in the foreground, this overtook the caving as the coolest moment so far! Love it here and don't want to leave, especially as we have a 7 hour journey starting at 8:30 this morning! Hope everything's okay at home! ...

... into our 12 bed dorm we were missed the comforts the Intercontinental had to offer, wishing we had kept our complimentary slippers firmly on our feet! The next day was the start of Castaways, which began with a 4 hour bus ride to the coast, providing some of the most spectacular views imaginable for those who managed to stay awake.
