    ... wine filled groups and couples, dancing on the balconies, listening to the gypsy music accompanied by locals singing, eating cheese platters, chatting, laughing, and watching people walk in to fill up their big plastic containers full of wine! We had such a fun afternoon and evening. They could definitely learn a thing or two from the Australian wine regions especially in terms of what they offer. Most cellars only offer wine, or maybe a bag of peanuts or piece of bread with lard! ...

    Headed South into Hungary, on the back roads, the rain has stopped, the roads are good and with very little traffic I've had a fun day. Bimbled along at around 60 mph just taking in the sites. Temperature in the high 20's so all good. Managed to get 390 miles out of a tank so I must be taking is slow!!

However, the only downside was the seemingly charming violinist trying to extort money from Rose after playing a few notes in our direction.     ... a camera obscura dating back to 1776- one of only two that survive in Europe. We couldn't make it up there but it's interesting to know that one is in Eger, the other in Edinburgh. Then it was across the square to the Basilica, the second largest church in after the one in Esztergom.
