... finding our Airbnb. After some searching, we sent a message to Klara, our host, and she came right out to find us. She showed us the apartment speaking only Hungarian, no English. The place was so nice and so was she! We researched and located "The Valley of the Beautiful Women," a horseshoe-shaped cluster of wineries, on our phones, and decided to take the 20 minute walk there. The road ended and turned into a slender, rocky trail path, but we kept going until it ...

... over the small lake (and fountain, which was not running when we took the zip line), to a tree a long ways away. Blake was allowed to climb the ladder to join us for the zip line as part of the kids course. ... the forecast looks dismal, but we are hopeful for enough decent weather for a look around.

Friday night when we arrived we met Gabor (the apartment manager), Istvan and Csilla outside the apartment. I passed the place on the way in because the ground floor was unoccupied and there were no obvious signs. I then passed it again on the way back because I didn't see the turn in behind the building for parking until too late. Third time was a charm, but ...

... a very lovely evening once again. This morning we went to the market where we expected to see some local handicrafts. It was a large market for the size of the town but only flowers, plants and fruit and vegetables. The strawberries were plentiful and looked tempting. I am still fighting this cold so went into the local pharmacy to get some drugs - not sure what I got but hopefully it will do some good. Georges and Jim headed up to see the castle ruins and Marion and I went ...
