      ... we had just missed our connection. No worries, there was a train to Eger, one hour later. Now that would be fine if you knew when you reached Fuzeabony; but train stops are not announced and sometimes you can't see the name of the station. We found a helpful conductor (rare) and he advised us the next stop in 5 minutes was ours. Thank God we had located him.       ... actually a genetically Hungarian thing.) So, imagine, if you will, a 75-year-old, hot-blooded Hungarian, driving a 4-cylinder Suzuki Swift like it's a Maserati.       ... across the wine growing valleys.

      We figured it probably wasn't responsible to spend ALL day at the wineries, so in the morning we spent a bit more time in town. We climbed the very very narrow winding steps of the 40 metre Minaret (not for the claustrophobic!!). At the top is only an incredibly narrow platform balcony embraced by a low iron bannister. The panorama was magnificent, but I hadn't quite realised the extend of my fear of heights! Weird that I can paraglide off a hill ...
