Sorry for the long time since the last blog... A combination of zero wifi on the islands and busy travelling has meant I haven't had time to get round to it. The last days in the Perhentians were spent on the beach, walking around the island and on a snorkelling trip. The snorkelling trip was a whole day trip which I was expecting I be a little naff after the diving that I've been doing but it was actually really good! When you're diving ...

Sunday, up early for the amazing breakfast again and outside to get in the car, get given out boat tickets and an hour later we are at the Jetty ready to get on the boat. Mr.Lee waited around making sure someone came over and told us which boat was ours, really was like having a personal guide for the area, everyone at the Jetty knew who he was. 9am Boat ...

We arrived in Tanah Merah at 4.00am this morning. The kids have been very happy to see their Malay family. Tanah Merah means red soil, a very industrial town producing plywood. No tourists at all so we stick out somewhat. I was asked at the market, 'what are you doing here'? We are quite near the Thai ...
