... there and Jenn goes straight to sleep after downing a rehydration sachet. I go and get some lunch and end up falling asleep when I returned too. We woke up at 6pm so neither of us could have been too healthy. The train arrived on time but frustratingly the train coming from the opposite direction ...

Another groggy start, had breakfast and chilled on beach. Played cards which turned into several rounds of redarse between luke, pat & myself. Couldn't hit pat! So hot in and out of the water, we got lunch and bid farewell to Malcolm. Back to the room as rain came in. Chilled in hostel watching the monsoon. Packed and had an early one ...

In between the Cameron Highlands and the Perhentian Islands we had a few days, after going over a few ideas we settled on getting a Mini Bus from the Cameron Highlands to a tiny place called Gua Musang. The town is in the middle of the Jungle in Central Malaysia and used to only be connected to anywhere else by the train line, that's all changed now though. But the town is still nearly non existent, a main road, a train station, some limestone cliffs and caves around ...
