Left home heading for the 10.50 Eurotunnel, arrived slightly late. As normal I used the Flexiplus lane at the tunnel, it's for people who pay a lot more for the flexibility of arriving anytime you like and getting on the first tain available. ... office and Vicky brought out coffee and 2 of the pies for us to sample: a kruimel which is a custard crumble pie and a rijsterlaai which is a baked rice pudding pie toped with whipped cream and shaved white chocolate. Oh my but these were good! As we left Vicky gave us 4 loaves of sugar bread which was still warm! Yum yum.
